ACCELERATE: The Transition to a Net Zero Future
Monday, 10 October 2022 at 9.15a.m. (Dublin)
About the Programme
The electricity sector is anchored at the heart of the clean energy transformation. Electricity will be central to the delivery of clean power to citizens across the globe, and the increased electrification of the economy will make a vital contribution to the decarbonisation of transport, buildings, and industry.
By offering examples of ways that citizens can harness the benefits of increased digitalisation in the electricity sector on the journey to net zero, the 2022 programme sought to inspire and inform. A diverse range of keynote speakers set out a vision for stronger community engagement with innovative technologies to accelerate cross-sectoral transformations of our society and lead to a clean energy future where no one is left behind.
On Monday, 10 October, the ACCELERATE conference showcased a vision for a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for all people as our journey to net zero continues.
